After a night of gales and torrential rain, the morning dawned damp and grey, however after only 2 minutes of walking we came across two stunnning Firecrests feeding in bushes along the parade with a small party of Blue Tits and Goldcrests. Out at sea, 2 Black-throated Divers flew past in opposite directions whilst a Red-throated Diver headed North. Adult Gannets were in good numbers, feeding not far offshore and we found 2 Mediterranean Gulls. A Little Egret flew south along the shoreline and small parties of auks were moving south. We saw the year's first Greenfinches and Mistle Thrushes, bring the patch list to 55 so far.
